Great place! The beer selection is very good, and the owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, but the food is amazing! The Monday night Chef's Table is a real treat. Chef Mike has the know how and love of cooking to make a great dish. Also, be sure and try the Colorado Mule.

Food was amazing. The local favorite mountian buger with applewood bacon was on point. Service was great as well.

Good beer, good, if average, food. Service is decent and attentive. Really exactly what you'd expect walking into the place. More bar than grill.

This place just opened. I checked it out tonight after work. Great bartenders, and good drinks. I did eat here tonight and had the chicken satay, they were good. The people next to me ordered the sliders and they looked amazing...they are next on my list. I will be back!

At first blush I didn't think that it would be a good place for a family dinner, but I was wrong. With children ages 9-14, we had great burgers and pizza and the kids loved playing pool. My husband enjoyed the beer choices. We will be back!

Great place with excellent beer selection. I went with my wife and two kids (6&4) and they were very accommodating when it came to my kids. Both times I've taken them they have made off menu food for them. The burger is amazing! Overall great place to close home.

Best burger and rueben we've had in a very long time and even better service!! Even brought out water refills for our dog. Will definitely be back next time we are in Colorado Springs.

We were skeptical at first since this place is located in a strip mall and we almost missed it. We ended up having a great experience and one of the best burgers in a long time.

FOOD: Pretty typical 1-page selection of bar fare made w a lot of Colorado-sourced items. The mountain burger was delicious, although the black pepper was uneven. Potatoes were well cooked but needed more Parmesan. The skewered sausage and pretzel bites were disappointing. Sausage was kinda cold and I couldn't taste the 1554 in it at all. And there was too much mustard on the plate. Pretzel bites could use some salt. Bartender comped them. BAR: 12 taps of mostly Colorado beers with more in cans and bottles. This is a big part of their identity. Good collection of beer glasses so most beers can be serve in the appropriate glassware. A lot of tequila options. SERVICE: average for Colorado Springs. Staff isn't engaged with customers but do watch to see if you need anything. AMBIANCE: This is a bar with a kitchen. I wouldn't take kids there. Cool tall tables that look like whisky barrels. Only one 5-top is low. There's a pool table and a jukebox that appears to be the only source of music. Of course, when I was there a regular was steadily feeding it money. LOCATION: Tucked in a strip mall by Albertsons. PRICE: Average for the west side of Colorado. Burger was $10.50. Beers were $4.50. There were higher and lower priced items. BOTTOM LINE: I'd go back.

Decent beer choices on tap but horrible food selections. So here's my reasons for the low rating. First, it's not mention anywhere on the review but this place is located in a strip mall. I missed the place a few time looking for it. Secondly, like I mention before the selections on food was short. They ran out of pizza which was odd for a six o'clock dinner event on a weekend. Lastly, the services were decent but food took a long time for a half full house. I would not recommend this place when there's a host of other food/beer locations in town. Like colorado mountain brewery or fox and the hound.

Great local pub. I had an awesome Fire burger with pepper jack cheese, bacon, red peppers...awesome burger. Great beer selection, I had a pint of Agave Wheat... Also the guacamole is made in house and chips were really good. Will be back soon!

I'm currently sitting at the bar of the Public House, this being my second visit here in about a week. My wife and discovered this gem from another local restaurant owner and we were not disappointed. Fantastic burgers!!!! Great local selection of beers and spirits. This place screams pride in their food and makes every effort to support local Colorado breweries and distillers...this is my first review on Yelp ever and these guys are most deserving of all five stars. SCREW FRANCHISES, SUPPORT OUR LOCALS!!!! START WITH THE PUBLIC HOUSE!!!!

Great place to come grab a pint and food. Really friendly staff and good assortment of beers on tap. Also have a few local beers on tap.

It's okay. We stopped here for lunch and there were only two waiters and it took forever we weren't in a hurry so that wasn't really a problem. The burgers were a little over hyped I thought they had good craft ideas but it didn't matter how your ordered your burger it came out mid well. If your going to have top notch burgers you got to cook them to way the customers ask for them. I'll pass next time.

Happened upon this neighborhood bar on the way back from Royal Gorge. We stopped on the basis of Yelp reviews. It was wonderful! The drinks were excellent and the people behind the bar were THE BEST!

  • Erica D.

The best Bloody Mary ever! We ordered the absolut cilantro and it came with lemon, lime, olive, bacon and a banana pepper! They will make it spicy on request, and did an awesome job with getting it just right! A perfect starter is their fingerling potatoes (loaded), too!!! The service is super friendly and very quick! Don't let the surrounding buildings and area turn you off- the atmosphere is good and the food and service can't be beat!!

Went during trivia night. Expecting electronic stuff. This place is old school. Answers hand written. Questions on a PowerPoint. Had the mountain and fire burgers. Fire had fresh jalapeño, flavors spicy but didn't overpower the meat. The mountain had whisky onions full of flavor. Bread was a brioche type bread. Never had fries like this - split fingerlings fried. Add bacon to everything. Never had bacon this crispy that wasn't burnt (I think they fried the bacon) Service was great.

OK, so first let me say, I'm a gourmet cook, my son is a chef, and my husband (thank goodness) is a "foodie!" Next, let me say, we are open to new experiences and ideas. Whether it be new lands, food, people, or customs. We have traveled world wide. Now, we love good food, whether it's peasant food, normal everyday food, or 5 star wine paired cuisine. As long as it is well prepared, fresh ingredients, and great flavor, that's the standard. Put a lovely presentation, accommodation to needs/wishes, and a service that is attentive but not hovering or interrupts the dining experience too often, you have a good combo. Last night my husband and I had two different burgers, and each wanted to try half of each. We didn't even have to ask for part of each on both plates, but the server, Missy, knew we wanted to do that, so had it come out to the table that way! Both burgers were stellar! Cooked just right and both with awesome flavor! The Irony Cab went great with them both. What was a plus was the fries! OMG! Best I've had in many years! Better than any home fries most of us would cook up! We are camped up up in Cheyenne Mt. State Park to try out the new RV, and man was this convenient! Going again tonight because it's delicious, easy, and a nice atmosphere!

A great atmosphere for relaxing and watching football! They have a tonne of Sunday specials that my hubby and I intend to check out. The staff is super friendly - one of the cooks noticed I was looking around to find a phone charger and brought his out for me to use.

Awesome burgers! Best I have had to date! Great queso blanco as well! Very friendly staff with a nice atmosphere:). I will be sure to come back!

  • Agam A.

The mountain burger was awesome and the perfect size, Their brews here are all local beers, which is pretty cool since I am always up for trying new beers. The "pub chips," which are pretty much fries, were a little hyped, they were crispy on the outside but seemed slightly undercooked on the inside but all in all it was a good experience. It was not too busy when I went here on a saturday afternoon but the servers here were really nice.

Updated review...... After many visits since our first visit over 15 months, it is simple to sum things up with a few words. The service, food and friendly support is consistently excellent. You will not be disappointed with the food regardless of what you order.

Love the food!!! Great environment, for older kids too. There's also a pool table. Service was outstanding, but the food, amazing! Mmmm, I'm hungry now!

Ventured to The Public House several months after they opened and had high expectations. I was underwhelmed in almost every category. Yes, they have local beer (it's Colorado, that's not hard to do and is generally just expected) but the options were incredibly limited and there was nothing terribly unique on the menu. We opted to go with appetizers including the sweet chili wings, Colorado street tacos, and Colorado surfer pizza (bacon & pineapple). They all sounded creative and my interest was piqued. Unfortunately there wasn't much that was memorable about any of it, and the portions were small. Even the dining area decor was off. Faux ceiling, faux hard wood floors, sparse decoration, awkward layout...I get the impression that the place was opened on a budget (understandable) but then don't try to be an authentic 'pub' when all you can afford is the dollar store version of the real thing. The only upside for me on this visit (and it was a good one!) was bartender Missy. She was understaffed but incredibly pleasant and accommodating. A keeper for sure. I do hope the rest of the place figures their stuff out so she can continue to rock the bar area.

We are visiting from Minnesota and were looking for a substantial, but reasonably priced, lunch after spending the morning at Garden of the Gods and the falls on Cheyenne. The Colorado beer selection at Public House was fun for us and the BLMT was absolutely heavenly! Their pub fries are awesome as well. It may be in a strip mall but the Public House is not to be missed!

I had been here a couple of times for beers - service was great and atmosphere friendly. Today my wonderful wife decided we should bop over for a Mothers Day meal...and it was FANTASTIC! Food was amazing...but even more impressive was the level of service. Ryan greeted us with a smile and told us about the fun special of the day (a berry cheesecake stuffed French toast plus bacon Bloody Mary ) - plus he was really great with our kiddos. Kids inhaled the French toast - my wife and I had burgers and they were amazing - juicy, perfect temperature, and just the right amount of toppings to be decadent but not falling apart at the seams. The chef came out to check on us personally and was super helpful and informative. Local businesses / establishments deserve our support when they do the job right - and these folks absolutely do it right!

Awesome food. Awesome service. Missy the Bar Manager is phenomenal and the food is DELISH. Especially the queso dip!!! Highly recommend!

I was impressed! I ordered the Mountain Burger and a Bloody Mary and both were fantastic. The chef and bartender understand and appreciate seasoning and quality ingredients. They take no shortcuts and it's obvious. Service was steller. This place is a gem and you definitely need to stop in if you haven't already!

Coming from Indiana and just finishing a 5k, the Public House was the perfect way to finish the day. Our server, Athena, was awesome and friendly despite how slammed they were. Love their great, dog-friendly patio. Overall just a terrific pub with great food and environment.

Not many local Coloradans know about this spot but I hope that changes. We went in to have dinner and watch the U.S. Men's soccer game. We were happily greeted by the server and brought drinks and apps in a timely manner. The pub has a good selection of beer and delicious food! The mountain burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had - cooked to perfection, full of flavor, on a yummy fluffy bun. It also comes with a side - I chose the salad. It was super fresh and light - not overdressed and just enough. During our meal, the chef of the pub even came out to make sure we liked our dinner and gave us more info on where the food came from - local, grass-fed beef, etc. I hope more locals start to venture to the public house for a fun bar with classy food experience. We will definitely be back!!

Solid food and a great beer selection. Worth a trip. Don't let the mall location deter you. We had great service at 5:30 on a Tuesday.

  • Jayma W.

Like everyone else, we were skeptical. It was empty at noon on a Saturday, and it is in a strip mall. But the service and food is phenomenal. You will not regret stopping here. Also, you need the queso blanco in your life.

Got some grief for wanting to drive this far away, but the reviews were so good I couldn't resist. Great choice- the Siracha shrimp tacos and burger were amazing. Service was friendly and helpful.

What a good little bar/pub. Great food and beer the staff is awesome. Very well versed in their food and drinks. Thursday night trivia is a great time for friends and family to put their skills to the test. The bar is also very Beard friendly.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but nice bar and grill inside. Server was friendly and service was prompt. The queso was good and the chips that came with it were delicious. I ate the apple walnut gorgonzola salad and highly recommend it. Bathrooms were clean. If you're staying close-by, this is a great place to eat or drink.

This is our first time in Colorado Springs and we're from the Portland, OR area. We love the variety of microbrews we have at home so we had to try some local beer while in town! My husband had the upslope lager and thought it was fine but nothing exciting. I'm not a lager drinker but I found it mild and drinkable to me lol but I don't like a beer with much or any bite. I had the agave wheat with a slice of orange, it was very smooth and lovely. I'd have it again and my husband preferred it over his. Now hopefully I remember the names of the food.... Bourbon burger was delicious! Moist, cheesy and the bun was great on it. We also had the street carnitas and they were very tasty! And the prices for both drinks and food were fair in our opinion. The service was fantastic. I forgot the name of our server but she was very nice, personable and attentive. Even someone else (manager or something, I presume) came by to ask if everything was going well and tasting good. We were pleasantly surprised with it all and would come back again! Just an interesting side note since I was not used to it but they also had live poker and I believe craps going on! It wasn't disruptive to the place either, I just thought it was different since we don't have that back home!

Opened almost a year ago. I give it 3 stars. Although I almost want to say 4 because the Bartenders are amazing. They try very hard to remember your name and beer preference. Each time I walk in - they give me options of beer I prefer, pretty awesome. Overall, the place is pretty small but it's ideal for a nice outing. They have 2 pool tables and seating for about 40 people maybe. Tuesdays are their pint nights - main reason I go. Each week a different Brewery comes in and their pints are only $3 a pint! Also you get a complementary mug from that brewery and a raffle ticket to win more stuff like shirts or other merchandise from that brew company. If you try this place, please be in tuesday. Wed is poker I think, I know fri and sat are karaoke, very loud though. Food is super expensive for the portion and they have only one cook. I suggest to order as soon as you get there because it will be 30-45min before you get a meal. Chips and artichoke is ideal - their salsa is pretty damn hot - even the mild one. Check it out.

Stopped by for lunch after a job interview nearby. I had a delicious sandwich and a tasty draft. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars at first was the venue... They are making the most of the store front location, but... Wait, considering how good the food was and how much they are supporting local foodie culture, I'll go ahead and round up to the nearest whole number of stars

If I could give zero stars, I would give it to this place. I waited 10 minutes then after having no one stop over even as other tables were getting service I walked up and grabbed a beer for my wife and I. Just before they got served to me someone stopped over to get our drink order. I picked up our beers and figured no problem they are a bit busy. A few minutes later they brought us some menus. We watched burgers coming out to several customers, which looked fantastic - so we decided to each get a burger. Well 25 minutes later after several people who came in after us got served drinks and orders taken, and we finished our beers, we gave up. I went up to pay at which point someone finally stopped over to take our order. I told them the service was horrible and we weren't staying. They only charged us for one beer and tried to give us a free app which I refused as we won't bother coming back.

Super friendly bartenders and good bar food overall, lots of local beers on tap from Bristol. The chicken sandwich with the basil aioli was good, not phenomenal. It seemed to have a little too much bread, not enough chicken. More basil aioli would have ramped up the flavor a bit. We also got the carnitas tacos, which were surprisingly quite good! They are served with a side small diced white onions and cilantro and a spicy green sauce. Both of these additions, with lime squeezed on top, made for a quality taco.

  • Food C.

We visited for a brew & dinner. Friendly, prompt service. Food is very good. PLUS, they had the Tour of Utah on the TV next to us which was AWESOME! =) Beer selection is good & served cold & in nice glasses. Had a great time!

Hailey was an amazing server. So knowledgable and polite. The burgers are to die for. The beer is amazing. There was not one bad thing set on our table. I HIGHLY recommend this place! She even told us places to check out around town!!! Awesome place!!

  • Jim D.

Really good neighborhood place to stop by for a drink, or to have a nice lunch or dinner. The menu is a bit limited, but probably has something to please most tastes. They stress that they try and source locally as much as possible, and I think that is a good thing. I found the food to be quite good - similar-to-better than you generally find in most brewpubs (although PH is not a brewpub). Definitely will return and would readily recommend.

  • Chad F.

This place is outstanding Missy, the bartender/waitress/hostess/straight awesome, really helped enhance our visit. The food is bought locally and the beer selection is top notch. I'm very pleased with the burger I got and my wife couldn't stop raving. If you are in Colorado Springs, LOOK THIS PLACE UP! You won't be disappointed!

The name of this joint is redundant. Other than the name, I liked this place. The food was good, the employees were welcoming and the atmosphere was clean and simple. The layout is open and bright. I liked that. I appreciated that the menu was relatively small. It made me feel that they take the time to put thought into preparing the items that are on the menu. Some places, it seems, just pile a bunch of stuff on the menu in order to cater to everyone. The beer selection was just fine. They seem to have the usual suspects. There are about four smaller TV's and one large TV. I think there was a pool table as well. And I noticed on certain days they have my very, very favorite activity on the face of the earth (SARCASM) karaoke!!! I believe that takes place on Fridays. I appreciate the warning. I look forward to more visits to The Public House.

After climbing the incline in Manitauo Springs we were in need of an amazing burger. After reading the reviews I figured it was worth the drive. Don't let the location fool you, the Public House is amazing. The burgers were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The next time we are in the area we will be sure to stop by again.

How is this the first time I have been to this place? The service was excellent! The food was Fantastic! The drinks were stiff and cheap! Did I mention that the service was excellent? Seriously though, the bartender that we received this night was amazing! She was the only one tending the bar and even though it was a very snowy evening, she was still able to serve the entire bar (maybe 20-30 patrons) and still have the skill to remember their drinks and take a moment to have some fun. She called me Timothy Olyphant all night, which was a dope compliment! The drink menu was simple but the service was the main reason that I will come back here! I plan on coming back on many Thursday nights to hit up the trivia night (starts @ 7:30) p.s. KARAOKE ON SATURDAY!

Decent little strip-mall sports bar. Immaculately clean. Food choices are a little more crunchy granola/hipster than one would expect from this type of place, but very well executed. I ordered the loaded pub chips. On the menu it said these were hand cut french fries with cheddar and bacon. When they came out they had two types of peppers (one red, one green) not mentioned on the menu. When I pointed this out, the server took them back and brought me something more in line with what was one the menu, so I assume this was just a serving line mix-up. No harm, no foul. Once I had what I ordered it was everything I wanted it to be. My wife had the Chicken Satay. A salad with chicken which she called "amazing." Two negatives for me. One, the service on the food items was very slow for the relative simplicity of what we ordered. The food came out was very good, so I can only assume the kitchen was short staffed. Two, their iced tea was a syrup concentrate (through the bar soda gun), rather than brewed. This is a HUGE pet peeve of mine because the stuff (I can't even call it tea) tastes like tar to me. 1 app + 1 entree + 2 soft drinks = $17

Great beer, great mountain burger. Also had the fire burger with the sanbul aioli sauce. Very tasty. Waitress was very knowledgable about beer and made a perfect recommendation on pairing with the meal. Potato fries were also unique and delicious. We'll be back for sure.

This is hands down my favorite watering-hole! I recently moved into the neighborhood and my good friend recommended this joint. I didn't even know it was there until she pointed it out- it's a cute little bar next to Albertson's. The owners are always behind the bar- very kind and inviting and generally make their rounds to all of their patrons. Their food menu is small, but their burgers are phenomenal! Every Friday and Saturday they have Karaoke night. They have two pool tables and plenty of tables and chairs. If you haven't been to the Public House I highly recommend stopping by- it's a small local bar full of smiling faces and delicious drinks!

Eaten here a few times now. It's so good I just keep wanting to go back! Try the pub fries, burger and chicken sandwich for sure. They also make a mean margarita! Be careful with that one tho... All in all a great place to relax, be with friends and get a great meal!

Oh my god the public house has like the most amazing food. Our waitress Missy was so attentive and she was so so fun and made our experience well worth it. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend the public house everyone I know!

My server/bartender was "Missy" and she was quick and friendly. The shrimp tacos were perfect along with the Colorado Mule. Cant wait to try more of their food when I go back. Give this place a try!

Excellent watering hole! Been coming here for about 6 months now, and it is our go to place. Great bartenders, owners are awesome, there are pool tables and karaoke nights. Can't beat the atmosphere! The food is also high quality, one of the best burgers in town. Local, fresh, quality ingredients make for some excellent food! A bar with above par bar food!

    (5)
  • George R.

Meh, if Missy isn't working, walk out. The service just isn't great unless she's cracking the whip. The late night menu doesn't include burgers. THE. LATE. NIGHT. MENU. DOESN'T. INCLUDE. BURGERS.

Nice staff and cool atmosphere. Bot good food though.... my sandwich was good but the people I was eating with how ever was not. One friend got to butt ends of the baguettes for "bite size" sandwich and the other friend got a sandwich with minimal meat and less than cooked bread. Maybe we just got them on an off day? Would not recommend and would not eat there again

Another strip mall restaurant that feels like a strip mall restaurant so crummy ambiance. Took a client there for lunch and had pulled pork sandwich and "fries". Tasted like canned meat and the "fries" were really fried potato wedges which were pretty gross. We should have driven elsewhere when we noticed there were only two people in the place!!!! Typical amateur try at owning a restaurant.

Honestly I just stopped by to wait for my hotel room to open up and stumbled upon one of the best burgers I have ever had (The Mountain burger). Insanely delicious and great service, more then happy I ran into this place and will differently return anytime I am in Colorado Spring.

I've been here twice during my Colorado stay and would totally recommend this place! The bartender is very friendly and attentive and gave us some great recommendations as to what we should drink. As for the food, I really enjoyed the Hawaiian style pizza and their chicken wings. The burger was tasty but a bit too dry for me. I also really liked the fact that they use local ingredients in their food.

  • Dominique C.

I just moved to the Springs from Buffalo, NY. That being said, I've eaten my fair share of wings. The Public House has by far the best "buffalo" wings I have ever tasted!! The chicken just falls off the bone and the sauce was spicy and tasty! They have numerous other flavors I haven't tasted yet, but I'm eager to!! Great food and friendly, fun bartenders!!

We had a groupon for this place and were excited to try it out after positive feedback from some friends. It did not disappoint! Excellent food and a fantastic beer selection. Taps were a good mix and they had a good bottle and can list to choose from as well. We tried the sausage and pretzel skewers for an app (delicious) and then had an amazing burger and chicken sandwich that we split. We tried the Craft Burger that was exceptional and the Pikes Beak chicken sandwich was very good. Highly recommend and we will be back!

  • Corey M.

I can't currently think of a place in CO Spgs with a better BEER ON TAP selection (not counting places with more than 15ish handles)! AND bartender Missy knows her stuff to help navigate the selection (she just generally rocked at everything btw). AMAZING "mountain" burger. great flavor, tasty bun (from someone who will remove the bun if it is just getting in the way of the burger flavor), juicy. Was way way better than you might expect from a place that straight up says they are pub/grill not a restaurant. I'll put it on par with a CO Mtn Brew burger, just shy of Walter's Kobe burger. chips were small potatoes, split in half and fried just right so they are crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and no grease can be detected. they add parmesean which is a nice touch. My wife had the chicken satay and it was very good. The chicken itself seemed fresh not frozen, and was cooked really well (again a surprise for an establishment like this). The only knock on it was the rub and the peanut sauce for dipping didn't quite play together right for me. We enjoyed everything so much, we didn't even mind the Karaoke that night. You might say we even enjoyed it, and that *never* happens...

I have to update because I have really grown to love The Public House. Ryan and Missy are usually working when I'm there, and they are wonderful. They remembered my name after only my second or third visit, which was awesome. I love that I can count on there almost always being a new tap on when I go in, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes I'm bummed when a beer I really liked is gone, but hey, you've gotta be adventurous. Today I went in and ate a latke breakfast special that was amazingly good. The chef was at the bar at one point and explained to me all the details of the dish. It was nice to be able to complement him on the food. It was a huge meal that I didn't think I would finish since I'm a small eater, but I just couldn't stop eating. I put the whole thing down with ease. Their breakfast and brew special on football Sundays is a great deal, especially if you're a breakfast and brew lover like me. It's worth restating that the food here is VERY good and not what you would expect from a place that advertises 'pub' food. Yes, it is stuff like burgers, wings, and salads, but it's definitely a much higher standard than what you'd expect from a typical pub. A correction from my previous post: As pointed out in the owner comment, the football bingo night is on Monday, not Thursday as I said in my original review. It's still not really my thing, but that's ok. I think it's a pretty cool concept and if you're ok with the announcer throughout the game, it actually seems kinda fun. I'd recommend at least giving it a try. I still come to Public House almost every time the Saints or Broncos are playing. It's a fun place to be and you can tell there are a lot of locals that come to hang out. I like that this is a local hangout spot without being a dive bar. In my experience, the two seem to go hand-in-hand. The Public House is always very clean and inviting.

Beer election would be awesome if it was 1999. They're about 15 years behind the ball on current beers. If your a beer snaub wipe your nose and walk away!! They tend to offer local nothing special beer that was the thing many moons ago. Nice bar tender. Not busy at the lunch hour. Burgers are very Spensive!! The craft burger is nice tasting but not worth the $13 price. YELP!! Unless your looking for more bun than burger then this beauty is yours!!

Just rolled in town for a lacrosse tourney and tried this place out due to other Yelp reviews. For an appetizer, we ordered garlic knots...oh yeah! Do not miss these bad boys. For dinner we ordered BLTM, cheese pizza, classic burger and the Colorado cuban. All were fantastic. The cuban was great...would have liked softer bread but overall, all items were very good. Beers on tap were great (Agave Wheat) and our wait staff women were both very attentive and gave us great ideas of what to do/where to eat while in town. I'm super bummed I didn't get their names but they were FANTASTIC!! If nothing else, go for them! Everyone here was super friendly and we had a great time. We'll be back later in the week for round 2. Do yourself a favor and drop by this local fun joint!

do NOT let the location fool you. I had one of the best burgers EVER. (the craft burger) my picky kids loved it and even the picky husband!!x! i highly recommend this place. the food is fresh and the garlic knots are unbelievable. The waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable and informative. Well worth going.....

What a hidden gem! We came because of the excellent reviews on yelp. When we pulled up to a near-deserted strip mall, I was hesitant. But WOW!! I brought my husband, and 2 children - 4 and 8, about 15 minutes after they opened on Father's Day. We were the only patrons, and there was only one bearded man working behind the bar. He was SO incredibly helpful and friendly. He knew the menu very well and provided excellent tips about what to try. He really did treat us as though we were old friends or family. The food was just as incredible as the help. We had spinach artichoke dip as an app and it was creamy and yummy - unusual in a great way; not your typical spinach artichoke dip at all. I ordered the sriracha shrimp tacos - SO tasty, fresh, and beautiful. My children split the BLTM, again - so fresh. The aioli on the bread was delicious and the lettuce and tomatoes were vibrant and fresh. The old man got the fire burger, he loved it. All of our plates were empty when we left. I would absolutely recommend this place and we WILL be back.

LOVE this place! Always come on a Tuesday for pint night. I went to culinary school and graduated at the top of my class and the food is on point! Had the patty melt tonight and I'm in love! The staff works really hard at keeping you happy. And they know us now by name. I know they're in competition with the hatch cover across the street who is complete garbage by the way. Love you pub house!!!

Great beer choices. Not a huge selection on tap, but very good quality, and something for every taste. The food was excellent. Our party of seven all loved their meals. The restaurant was packed to the gills when we got there, but the service more than made up for the short wait.

Great new pub in this area. The food was impressive and the prices were too unbelievable for the quality. The staff always has been friendly the 2 times I've been. I was also elated by the beer selection because most of the bars in this area don't have much microbrews. All in all I can see myself being regular here.

Husband and I just got done eating here and absolutely loved it. The bartender warmly greeted us and made a good recommendation off the menu. My husband got the Mountain Burger and I got the Fire Burger. We really enjoyed our entrees. My husband wished they had given him more fries because they were so good. Looks like they have a well stocked bar. Bartender was also our server. He was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

My husband and I checked this place out about 2 months ago. We found out about the pint night and we have been every Tues since. The staff is amazing as well as the food and beer!!! This is the first bar I have ever called home!!!

This is a great neighborhood bar. We stopped in for a burger and beer, and we were pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. The location is a big odd, in a strip mall by an Albertson's, but as a result there is plenty of easy parking.

Brand new place at the top of Cheyenne Hills. Awesome burger!!!! It took the place of the former skankys, i mean spankys bar. On first glance, the food is very good. It would be nice to have a clean and respectable neighborhood pub to visit. So I am hoping the owners maintain a clean and respectable environment and not fall into the rut that seems to happen other bars in this area. The Hatch cover used to be nice, but over the past 10 years has turned into a place you dont want to visit, and their food has gone to heck. And Spankys, well nothing needs to be said about that former bar.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! Don't be confused by the fact that the Yelp info says it's "Good For Kids." It's not. The seating is all bar style seating with one short table for one family to sit around. There is no kid's menu. If you want to take kids, you will be looking at ordering off of the appetizer menu, and even then there are very few selections that picky children will even consider. The food overall was "eh." They are riding the fact that their food and beer is all Colorado local. But it just wasn't on point when it came to flavor. I had the Street Tacos. I grew up eating authentic street tacos, and these ones just didn't do it. They were very bland and lacking in flavor. The prices were not friendly. Definitely not bar food prices. You will spend a pretty penny in here if you are looking for drinks and food. As for the service, I was gravely disappointed. There was only one server for the entire place. The food took an exceeding long time to come out. When it did come out, it was only one of the appetizers that we ordered for the kids to eat. Waiter said the cook "jumped the gun" and had that ready before everything else. Kudos for not letting it sit under the heating lamps for another 30 minutes. So we had to split that one up so nobody would freak out about not having food. Another long wait before the rest came out. When the other plates came, the waiter said that the cook forgot to cook a plate of Sliders. This was one of the kids meals. You can only imagine how it was while everybody else had food, except for one kid. This is far from typical restaurant etiquette. Normally you would ensure that the kids have food before anybody else. In summary, I read a response from the restaurant to another Yelpers review. They stated, "Our menu selection is short, we are a Pub and Grill, not a restaurant." Well, then you need to be more specific about that and not advertise as a family friendly place. Here I was thinking someone had hit it on the nose as for a local joint. No, it's just ANOTHER bar in the corner of a run down strip mall riding the "We sell Colorado" train. There's too many of those around here already. If you are looking for a local place that is "Colorado," you will only find beer here, not the whole experience.

Meh, if Missy isn't working, walk out. The service just isn't great unless she's cracking the whip. The late night menu doesn't include burgers. THE. LATE. NIGHT. MENU. DOESN'T. INCLUDE. BURGERS.

We visited for a brew & dinner. Friendly, prompt service. Food is very good. PLUS, they had the Tour of Utah on the TV next to us which was AWESOME! =) Beer selection is good & served cold & in nice glasses. Had a great time!

Hailey was an amazing server. So knowledgable and polite. The burgers are to die for. The beer is amazing. There was not one bad thing set on our table. I HIGHLY recommend this place! She even told us places to check out around town!!! Awesome place!!

This place is outstanding Missy, the bartender/waitress/hostess/straight awesome, really helped enhance our visit. The food is bought locally and the beer selection is top notch.

Like everyone else, we were skeptical. It was empty at noon on a Saturday, and it is in a strip mall. But the service and food is phenomenal. You will not regret stopping here. Also, you need the queso blanco in your life.

You might say we even enjoyed it, and that *never* happens...

do NOT let the location fool you. I had one of the best burgers EVER. (the craft burger) my picky kids loved it and even the picky husband!!x! i highly recommend this place. the food is fresh and the garlic knots are unbelievable. The waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable and informative. Well worth going.....

My server/bartender was "Missy" and she was quick and friendly. The shrimp tacos were perfect along with the Colorado Mule. Cant wait to try more of their food when I go back. Give this place a try!

Honestly I just stopped by to wait for my hotel room to open up and stumbled upon one of the best burgers I have ever had (The Mountain burger). Insanely delicious and great service, more then happy I ran into this place and will differently return anytime I am in Colorado Spring.

Awesome food! Lots of high quality locally sourced items on the menu. Great local tap beer selection as well. They rotate them often so there's always something new to try.

Good beer, good, if average, food. Service is decent and attentive. Really exactly what you'd expect walking into the place. More bar than grill.

Great place! The beer selection is very good, and the owner and staff are friendly and welcoming, but the food is amazing! The Monday night Chef's Table is a real treat. Chef Mike has the know how and love of cooking to make a great dish. Also, be sure and try the Colorado Mule.

We were skeptical at first since this place is located in a strip mall and we almost missed it. We ended up having a great experience and one of the best burgers in a long time.

Great new pub in this area. The food was impressive and the prices were too unbelievable for the quality. The staff always has been friendly the 2 times I've been. I was also elated by the beer selection because most of the bars in this area don't have much microbrews. All in all I can see myself being regular here.

This place just opened. I checked it out tonight after work. Great bartenders, and good drinks. I did eat here tonight and had the chicken satay, they were good. The people next to me ordered the sliders and they looked amazing...they are next on my list. I will be back!

Eaten here a few times now. It's so good I just keep wanting to go back! Try the pub fries, burger and chicken sandwich for sure. They also make a mean margarita! Be careful with that one tho... All in all a great place to relax, be with friends and get a great meal!
